A new study from the Facing Up to the Nation's Finances initiative finds the American people are willing to consider sacrifices to address the federal budget. The real barrier, according to the Viewpoint Learning report, isn't resistance to tax increases or spending cuts; it's the public's skepticism that the government will use their money wisely.
