Michael Hamill Remaley

Michael Hamill Remaley is Director of Communications for Public Agenda. He leads the communications team and is a frequent spokesperson for Public Agenda. He is responsible for developing communications strategies for the organization and also works directly with journalists in developing their stories. He is responsible for overseeing production and dissemination of Public Agenda’s reports and is a frequent writer on a host of issues including foreign policy and education, public engagement and fixing our democratic system.

Prior to joining Public Agenda in 2003, Mr. Remaley managed The New Patriotism Project, a national initiative of The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation aimed at improving public life and politics. Previously, he was a Program Associate for Planning and Evaluation at The Pew Charitable Trusts and was earlier an Associate in the corporate philanthropy division of TCC Group (formerly The Conservation Company).

Mr. Remaley is a graduate of Temple University (MSW 1997, B.A. Journalism/Public Relations 1991).
